Tactful AI alternatives in Egypt: what each option does, and when to choose it

Tactful AI is a sales-led CX platform built for MENA. What it does well, the alternatives for a business in Egypt, and when each one fits, Helm included.

The short answer. Tactful AI is a sales-led customer-experience platform built for MENA and suited to a business that wants an inbox, ticketing and AI agents in one workspace for its team. The alternatives in Egypt are WideBot, a self-serve builder such as Chatbase or ManyChat, Fin (formerly Intercom Fin) on a helpdesk, an agency build, or Helm, which builds and runs one workflow for you.

What is Tactful AI, and how is it bought?

Tactful AI calls itself "The Agentic CX Platform": "One AI-powered workspace that replaces fragmented inboxes and manual triage." Every plan carries a one-time onboarding fee that includes "AI setup and tuning", and your team gets a drag-and-drop builder to "Build and update CX workflows without IT."

Its pricing page, read on 27 Oct 2026, publishes no price. Four packages are priced by monthly conversations and brands, "Billed quarterly or annually. There is no monthly term." A conversation is "one customer's thread, counted once regardless of how many messages pass inside it."

What does Tactful AI do well?

  • Seats are free: "Seats never billed", so more human agents do not raise the bill.
  • Contact-centre tooling around the AI: a unified inbox, ticketing with SLAs, a supervisor hub, routing by language, several brands.
  • Governed actions. "Sensitive operations require manager sign-off. You define thresholds. Platform enforces them." Plus an audit log, and an Agent Assist mode where "Human sends every message".
  • Comments at volume on Facebook and Instagram, including hiding negative ones.
  • Mixed Arabic and English. "AI Agents reply in the language your customer writes in", for "MENA messaging-first audiences, where one conversation often mixes Arabic and English."

What are the alternatives in Egypt?

  • WideBot. Sales-led and "Arabic-first", for governments and enterprises, with its own Arabic models and deployment "Cloud, Hybrid, or on-premise". No public price.
  • A self-serve builder. Chatbase (Arabic among 95+ languages) lists Hobby at $40 a month billed monthly for 700 message credits. ManyChat, centred on Instagram, has a free plan and paid plans from $17 a month billed monthly by Active Contacts, with WhatsApp from Pro at $39. Both as published on 27 Oct 2026 for a US visitor.
  • A support desk with an AI layer. Fin answers in 45 languages including Arabic, on WhatsApp and other channels, and runs on Intercom, Zendesk, Salesforce, Freshdesk or HubSpot, at "$0.99 per outcome" as published on 27 Oct 2026.

How is Helm different from Tactful AI?

Both are sales-led, and both set the agent up with you. Tactful AI gives your team a workspace: inbox, tickets, SLAs and a builder. Helm is a workflow deployment company. It agrees one recurring workflow with you, such as bookings or admissions, builds it, runs it on WhatsApp and Instagram, and writes the result into your systems. What it may do alone, what needs approval and what goes to a named person is signed before the build; a named engineer stays on after launch. Arabic and English are the working languages, including Egyptian and Gulf dialects. Price is agreed in writing before anything is built, against the scope.

MSA University ran its admissions inbox on Helm in the 2026 season. The university's own count, with Helm in place, not produced by Helm alone:

We confirmed 238 admissions through the inbox. The year before, with staff alone, it was 24. Over half the messages came after hours, and in July nobody waited for a person.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose Tactful AI if your human agents need one inbox with ticketing, SLAs and supervisor tools, and your team will build the workflows.
  • Choose WideBot if a government body or enterprise needs on-premise or hybrid deployment.
  • Choose a self-serve builder if your inbox is a few dozen messages a week and someone can build flows.
  • Choose Fin if you already run a helpdesk and want a per-outcome price.
  • Choose an agency build for one well-specified integration your team will maintain.
  • Choose Helm if one recurring workflow arrives on WhatsApp or Instagram at volume, ends in a booking, a deposit or a qualified lead, and you want it built, governed and run for you.

When is Helm the wrong choice?

If one person answers everything within the hour, a support desk and good habits cost less. If a person must approve every reply, an agent-assist inbox such as Tactful AI's fits better; how Helm handles approval explains why. The pilot, the FAQ and the four-option comparison go further.
